Cynthia Blakemore Servant Leader Scholarship

Cynthia Blakemore, a 35-year HCS employee and much loved member of the school social workers serving Hamilton County Schools, passed away on December 21, 2021. To honor her memory and the unwavering commitment she offered to students, their families, and our school community, the Cynthia Blakemore Servant Leader Scholarship has been established through the Hamilton County Schools Foundation. This scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior planning to pursue a career in social work, counseling, nursing, or teaching.   

 Completed applications, including references and transcript, should be submitted by March 1 to:
